THE PRIZE BALLOONS

375 black and yellow balloons were released on Thursday 31st May 2007, to celebrate the inauguration of the Newgate Street Clock  and the 375th anniversary of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers. When set free, the balloons gained height rapidly and began to drift north north west.

Two (joined) white balloons (arrowed above), released with the others, had a label attached to them, confirming that the finder may exchange the label for a sterling-silver "Throgmorton" wristwatch, made by J & T Windmills.

The finder of the labelled balloons should telephone the Clerk of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers on 0207  638 5500, or e-mail him at clockmakersco@aol.com or write to him c/o Salters' Hall, Fore Street, London EC2Y 5DE within two calendar months of 31st May 2007 and arrange to exchange the label for the watch.

YOU MUST HAVE THE ENTIRE ORIGINAL LABEL WITH YOU TO CLAIM THE WATCH.
A copy of the label, or a part of it, will not be deemed sufficient.
The prize must be claimed within two calendar months of May 31st.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers will be final.
